Safer Roads 2020 canceled due to COVID-19
It is with great disappointment that we must announce that the Safer Roads 2020 International Conference has been canceled. After very careful consideration, the ATSSA Executive Committee and the Safer Roads 2020 Steering Committee decided to cancel the 2020 conference that was tentatively rescheduled for November 2020 in Richmond, Va.
Due to the impacts of COVID-19 and other planning conflicts, it has become increasingly difficult to hold this conference as scheduled. The ATSSA Executive Team and the Safer Roads 2020 Steering Committee took several weeks to consider all options and collect as much data and information as it could before making a final decision.
We want to extend our gratitude and appreciation for the hard work that the Committee and staff and volunteers have put into this international event.
Our team will be reaching out directly to speakers, exhibitors, and attendees soon with additional information about refunds for registrations, exhibits, and sponsorships. If you have not already done so, please check with your hotel and airline for details about canceling any reservations that have been made.
Thank you for your patience and understanding. Please look for an announcement later in the year or in early 2021 about the schedule for the next Safer Roads International Conference.
